Sonisphere confirms Alien Ant Farm, Saxon, and Dead By Sunrise

Chester Bennington's side project added to the line-up

Monday 13th July 2009

Dead By Sunrise, Saxon, and Alien Ant Farm are the latest additions to next month's Sonisphere festival line-up.

Linkin Park
Sonisphere will be the first ever UK appearance of Linkin Park lead singer Chester Bennington's side project Dead By Sunrise. Made up of members of Industrial Rockers Julien-K and led by the Linkin Park frontman, the band are set to release their debut album later this year. Fans at Knebworth will have the opportunity to hear songs for the first time in the UK as the band perform on the Apollo stage on Saturday night as part of Linkin Park's encore.

Alternative rockers Alien Ant Farm will be performing their cover of Michael Jackson's 'Smooth Criminal' at Sonisphere, giving attendees at Sonisphere a chance to pay homage to the King Of Pop while they rock out on the Apollo stage on the Saturday.

Heavy Metal legends Saxon complete today's latest additions, taking to the Apollo Stage on Sunday.

The headliners are Linkin Park, and Metallica, with Avenged Sevenfold, Nine Inch Nails, Heaven And Hell, Coheed & Cambria, Anthrax, Alice in Chains, Feeder, Taking Back Sunday, Skindred, Thunder, The Wildhearts, Mastodon, Airbourne, Killing Joke, and Lamb Of God. Weekend tickets are priced at £132.50, or £157.50 with camping. Lockers are priced at £10, and parking is also £10 in advance or £20 on the day. And early arrival camping entry ticket is priced at £10, and tickets for camper vans are priced at £40. Day tickets are available priced at £67.50 for either day.
