Orbital, and Friendly Fires to headline London Freezeplus Pendulum DJ Set, and Chase & Status confirmed for BatterseaThursday 3rd September 2009 Orbital, and Friendly Fires have been announced as headliners of this year's Fso4 London Freeze.
London Freeze (Freesports on 4 FREEZE) the snow sport and music event returns to Battersea Power Station in London from Friday 30th October to Sunday 1st November. Battersea Power Station will be transformed into a real life ski resort with the London leg of the LG Snowboard FIS World Cup, International Freestyle Ski Comp, alpine themed bars and two live music stages - the Main Stage Tent and the Relentless Live Stage. The focal point of the event is the 17m table top real snow jump created for the LG London Big Air Event, part of the LG FIS (International Ski Federation) World Cup. While this event is for snowboarders there will also be some amazing skiing action. The run down of events includes The LG London Big Air, The International Freestyle Ski Event, and The Battle of Britain (BOB). Tickets are priced as follows: 3 Day Pass: Adult £85 - Children (6-14) £35. Adult day ticket (for any day) £35, Children (6-14) £15. Children aged 5 and under can enter this event for free and do not need a ticket. Please note all under 16's must be accompanied by an adult of 18 or over. To buy tickets, click here. Elsewhere there will be a resort style retail village with the brands showcasing their latest stock and selling all the new winter gear for the season ahead.
