Liverpool Music Week adds Super Furry Animals

plus Brand New Heavies, Soft Toy Emergency, General Fiasco, & Akeal

Super Furry Animals, Brand New Heavies, Soft Toy Emergency, General Fiasco, and Akeal have all been confirmed for this year's Liverpool Music Week festival.

Super Furry Animals
Super Furry Animals will be performing at Nation on Thursday 5th November and are the final big name act to be announced for this years festival. Tickets for this event will go on sale at 9am on Friday 18th September.

Brand New Heavies will perform an intimate show at The Masque Theatre on Monday 3rd November with all of their original band members, including front woman N'Dea Davenport. Tickets are on sale now, priced at £16.50. to buy tickets click here.

Soft Toy Emergency will be performing a special Halloween party as part of LMW on Saturday 31st October at O2 Academy. Tickets are priced at £6, to buy tickets click here.

Also announced is the addition of General Fiasco, and Akeal as the support acts for The Enemy.

Other acts confirmed to perform at Liverpool Music Week 2009 include Kasabian, The Specials, Calvin Harris, Seasick Steve, Reverend & The Makers, The Enemy, Gallows, The Bays, and Twisted Wheel.

Liverpool Music Week is billed as the UK's largest indoor winter music festival and will be staging over 80 events, across 26 venues and will play host to over 250 live bands. The festival format is a combination of ticketed shows and free shows, with artists including the well known live acts, and new emerging talent.
