Glastonbury Festival organiser Michael Eavis has revealed that Arcadia - the spectacular outdoor venue that's been present at the last two Glastonburys - is to get and extra 15 acres in 2010 as "the feedback we got on that area was fantastic".
He told Music Week (here) "We're giving over an extra 15 acres to Arcadia next year because the feedback we got on that area was fantastic. It doesn’t feel like 40 years. We've had some bad years along the way, but mostly it's been great fun. Next year is special though and we’re working hard to make sure we get the best acts to make it the best festival yet."
Eavis wouldn't comment on rumours linking the likes of U2, The Rolling Stones and David Bowie to the 2010 event - although Bowie has already seemingly be ruled out by bowie.net who have stated he won't be there.
Only one act is confirmed so far, but as usual eFestivals will bring you the very best-sourced rumours, allowing festival-goers to see who is playing long before the bands are formally announced - keep your eyes on the Glastonbury 2010 rumours, updated as we receive information.
