The Human League for GuilFest

headlining the Saturday night

Wednesday 9th December 2009

'80s Synthpop legends The Human League will be the headline act on Saturday 17th July at next summer's GuilFest joining Sunday's headliner, legendary rockers, Status Quo.

The Human League
The Human League are estimated to have sold over 20 million records worldwide in a career spanning over 30 years, including nine studio albums - including four top ten albums, the most successful of which, 'Dare' achieved number 1 in the UK and triple-platinum status; twenty six singles including eight UK top ten singles with two number ones.

GuilFest can look forward to hearing classic tracks like 'Human', 'Mirror Man', 'Open Your Heart', 'Don't You Want Me' and 'Tell Me When'. The Human League will clearly provide a fitting end to Saturday night on the Main Stage at Stoke Park, in Guildford.

There are many more acts to be announced for all the stages soon, including the Rock Cave and Dance tent, as well as top performers for both the eFestivals comedy and theatre tents.

The family friendly festival will take place from Friday 16th until Sunday 18th July 2010 and GuilFest is this year offering a Christmas Early Bird ticket offer. 1000 weekend and camping tickets are now available at a reduced price with adult tickets reduced by £10 and Kids tickets reduced by £5.

On top of the early bird ticket, GuilFest is also offering a group discount. For every 8 weekend or weekend and camping tickets purchased, festival goers will receive an extra one for free!

These offers are only available until Christmas Eve.

Tickets are priced at £90 for an adult weekend, or £100 weekend with camping. Children between 12 and 15 years old tickets are priced at £50 for the weekend, £60 for weekend with camping. N.B. Children between 12 – 15 must be accompanied by an adult. People aged 16 years and over will have to purchase an adult ticket. Children aged 11 years and younger are admitted free as long as they are accompanied by an adult. Campervan tickets are priced at £60.

Day tickets to see The Human League and Status Quo at GuilFest are available now at early bird prices, reduced from £45 to £40 for an adult and £30 to £25 for kids.

GuilFest is a great laid-back festival where visitors can enjoy a great weekend featuring 7 stages of live music hosting more than 200 acts, plus Cosmic Comedy Zone, the Theatre tent, the incredibly popular Farmer Giles Barn Dance, street theatre, arts and crafts, a huge variety of stalls, delicious food and drink from all over the globe, bars and cocktail bars, and a wonderful atmosphere.

GuilFest features one of the best festival children's areas in the whole country, the GuilFest Kidzone with loads of fun, games, face painting, drum sessions, musical workshops, parades and much more - culminating in a huge procession around the park on Sunday.

Organisers are determined to make 2010's festival bigger and better than ever before!
