Creamfields has been granted a three-year licencethe first ever dance festival to receive an extended year licenceThursday 4th March 2010Creamfields which takes place at Daresbury Estate, Halton, Cheshire has been granted a three-year licence for its festival site, the first ever dance festival to receive an extended year licence.
Following last year's sell-out show which attracted a record 60,000 people from across the UK, organisers have increased investment into site infrastructure for 2010, which will see bigger and better arenas and increased space and capacity in the campsite areas. Event Manager Jim King from Loudsound said, "This decision to grant the festival a 3 year license is a very important decision in that it clearly shows the confidence that the authorities have in Creamfields and it's management team. The festival has now established itself at its new location in Cheshire as one of the largest, most popular and well operated electronic festivals in the world." In 2006 Creamfields relocated from Liverpool to its new Daresbury home in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, and to coincide with its 10th Anniversary celebrations became a two-day camping show in 2008. The line up for this year's festival, will be announced soon. Tickets for the two day camping event over the Bank Holiday weekend of Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th August 2010 are priced at £100 with or without camping.
