Glastonbury Festival reveals the West Holts Stage, with line-upthe new name for JazzworldWednesday 7th April 2010New at Glastonbury Festival this year is the West Holts Stage, replacing the Jazzworld stage in the same location. Along with the new stage name being revealed, the line-up has also been announced, with it headlined by Mos Def, George Clinton with Parliament / Funkadelic, and Rodrigo y Gabriela. "We're going back to the real roots of Worthy Farm and its history with the name change for the stage" says Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis. "West Holts was a 'halt' originally; one of the two places where we had to open the level crossing gates across the old railway line to get the cattle through for milking. It was a fair walk up to the farm, just as it is now, and those cows took some driving!" West Holts Stage will feature the best groove-based music from around the world, as living legends share the bill with cutting-edge newcomers. It's much like Jazzworld, but with a different name.
