Glassjaw make headlining exclusive UK appearance at Hevy

plus Devil Sold His Soul, Bury Tomorrow, and more added to the bill

Thursday 15th April 2010

Glassjaw will be headlining the Hevy Music Festival.

Glassjaw
Post-hardcore legends Glassjaw will close the three days festival with a rare and exclusive UK appearance. Further confirmations include Devil Sold His Soul, Trash Talk, Sylosis, Bury Tomorrow, Chickenhawk, and East/Strike/West who have also been added to the Hevy Music Festivalʼs 2nd Stage line-up, with The Plight, Throats, and Outcry Collective added for the Red Bull Bedroom Jam.

Festival organisers said, "We are unbelievably excited to announce that Glassjaw will be our Sunday headliner! Their influence has been staggering, the loyalty towards them astounding and the number of careers owed to them, unfathomable. These guys are undoubtedly the biggest post-hardcore band on the planet and we are flying them over from New York for what will be their only UK appearance this summer!”!"

Previously announced acts for the Hevy Music Festival 2010 include Gallows, The Subways, Sepultura, Fucked Up, Rolo Tomassi, Napalm Death, Polar Bear Club, Young Guns, Dead Swans, Lower Than Atlantis and Feed the Rhino. The Hevy Music Festival 2010 will feature 4 stages of great bands, live extreme sports displays and more. The event takes place at Lympne Wildlife Park, in Kent and will take place from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th August 2010.
