Lounge On The Farm add more live actsThese New Puritans, Hexstatic, The Phenomenal Handclap Band, and moreWednesday 21st April 2010 Erland and the Carnival, Quantic and his Combo Barbaro, These New Puritans, and The Phenomenal Handclap Band are amongst the latest names announced for this summer's Lounge on the Farm music festival.
Also appearing at the fifth Lounge on the Farm music festival, which takes place at Merton Farm in Canterbury from Friday 9th to Sunday 11th of July 2010 are Barry Ashworth with MC Sir Real, Led Bib, Sarah Blasko, The Skints, Chief, Danny and The Champions of The World, Rose Elinor Dougall, United Vibrations, Wolf Gang, The Shimmer, Wild Palms, and Lissy Trullie. As ever Lounge on the Farm has lined up plenty of Kent's own incredible talent teetering on the cusp of greatness including tasty troubadours and LOTF faves these include Yearner Babies, Tom Williams & The Boat, Lucy Kitt, Maker, Matthew P, Electric River, CWB, 12 Stone Toddler, Natalie Evans, The Singing Loins, Awale, Speakers Corner Quartet , Liam Magill, Theo Bard, Elan Tamara, Los Ocelots, The Happy Accidents, School Of Imagination, Jouis, The Mandibles, Zoo For You, Giacomo, Rae, The Moulettes, The Boot Lagoon, Le Duc, The Wolf People, and Syd Arthur. They join the previously announced Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Toots & The Maytals, Courtney Pine, Fionn Regan, TUNNG, and many more - for the full line-up details to-date, see here. The five thousand capacity festival, features seven stages with over 160 bands playing over three days. The festival gives local bands and musicians a platform upon which to perform alongside established acts from round the country. Day tickets now on sale and a final headliner, more music, comedy and theatre line-ups are still to be announced. Full price adult weekend tickets are priced at £95, youth tickets (aged 13-17 on 09/07/2010) are priced at £75, child ticket (aged between 6-12 on 09/07/2010) are priced at £45, family tickets which allow entrance of 2 x adults and 2 x kids (aged 6 - 12 years) are priced at £210. Kids aged 5 or under go for a nominal fee of £1. Day tickets are on sale priced at £40 for adults, £30 for youths, and £20 for kids. To buy tickets, click here. Lounge On The Farm also has The Meadow field which is an extension of everything Lounge On The Farm stands for.
