exclusive: chart topper Diana Vickers heading for Summer Sundaeplus eFestivals Comedy Tent line-up announcedWednesday 28th April 2010 eFestivals can exclusively reveal that chart topping Diana Vickers has been announced for this year's Summer Sundae Weekender alongside more music acts and the eFestivals Comedy Tent line-up.
Also confirmed is Essex grime lyricist Devlin alongside regional talent hand-picked by festival organizers Spotlight Kid, Little Night Terrors, Red Shoe Diaries, We Show Up On Radar, and David Gibb. Returning to provide a comedic treat for the fifth successive year is the eFestivals Comedy Tent, programmed by Leicester Comedy Festival. The line-up will feature stand-up from BBC Radio 4's Milton Jones, musical tomfoolery from Rob Deering, observational comedy from Junior Simpson, and top UK headliner and compere Andy Robinson. The programme also includes a whole host of established and emerging talent including Ray Peacock, Mark Olver, Kent Valentine, Liam Mullone, and Adrian Poynton. The family friendly festival has a musical line-up that includes Friday headliner Seasick Steve, plus Roots Manuva, Steve Mason, Caribou, Junip, Tinchy Stryder, The Futureheads, Los Campesinos!, Frightened Rabbit, Errors, Mumford & Sons, The Low Anthem, Tunng, Turin Brakes, The Invisible, Fionn Regan, Liam Frost, The Go! Team, Local Natives, The Fall, Laura Veirs, The Sunshine Underground, The Whip, Woodentops, Goldheart Assembly, Lou Rhodes, Erland And The Carnival, A Genuine Freakshow, The Wave Pictures, and more. Tickets are on sale, priced at £105 for one adult, to £275 for a family of four (2 adults, 2 children), and a weekend disabled ticket (two for one) is priced at £52.50, and under 5s go for free. Day tickets go on sale on Saturday 1st of May. An adult day ticket will be priced £40 for Friday, and £45 for Saturday or Sunday. Child (aged 5 -15 years old) are priced £12 for Friday, and £15 for Saturday or Sunday. Camping tickets are per person, not per tent, an adult camping ticket will be priced at £8.50, a child camping ticket will be priced at £4.25, quiet or family camping will be priced at £10 (Regents College), and child family camping will be priced at £5 (Regents College), with camper vans and caravans tickets priced at £30. To buy tickets, click here. Summer Sundae Weekender has since its inception in 2001 it has expanded to a three day, six stage festival, with over a hundred acts.
