Seth Lakeman, and Dreadzone for GuilFest

Seth Lakeman, Dreadzone, Pama International, and Sub Focus (DJ Set) have all been announced for this year's GuilFest.

Folk Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Seth Lakeman is confirmed to perform on the newly named The Good Time Guide (2nd) Stage at GuilFest on Sunday. Seth has performed his special brand of folk all over the world and will be showcasing a few tracks from his brand new album due for release this June. Seth returns to GuilFest for the first time since his 2008 appearance.

Festival favourites Dreadzone will be bringing their eclectic fusion of Dub, Trance, Reggae, Techno, Folk and Rock to The Good Time Guide Stage at GuilFest 2010 on Friday. The band have just released their sixth album 'Eye on the Horizon', so audiences can expect a heady mix of old and new material for their live show at GuilFest.

Eight piece Dub/Reggae outfit Pama International will be making their debut at GuilFest this summer, on The Main Stage on Sunday. Described as Dub Fuelled Ska Rocksteady & Reggae for the people. In 2006 the band became the first new signing in 30 years to the world famous reggae record label Trojan Records.

Drum and Bass act Sub Focus will be performing a DJ Set in The Funky End Dance Tent on Friday. With three UK Dance Chart number 1s under his belt, a top 40 UK single, remix work with huge artists such as The Prodigy & Deadmau5, and numerous plays on Radio 1, Sub Focus is one of a rare breed to Drum and Bass artists to have truly broken into the mainstream.

Also announced are Fucked Up, Nero, and Rock Choir. They join an already announced line up of Orbital, The Human League, Status Quo, N – Dubz, Just Jack, Kid Creole & The Coconuts, Hawkwind, Hadouken!,Chase and Status (DJ set), Level 42, 10cc, The Blockheads, The Blackout, Tinie Tempah, The King Blues, The Twang, Draven, Turbowolf and Chickenhawk, with more acts still to be announced. Also this year GuilFest welcomes Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's River Cottage Cafe to the festival – Which will be providing a Canteen where you can purchase their unique take on festival favourites, and attend special survival workshops - where 'Three Hungry Boys' from the Channel 4 show will be showing off skills they have learnt about 'living off the land' from Hugh.

The family friendly festival will take place from Friday 16th until Sunday 18th July 2010. Tickets are priced at £100 for an adult weekend, or £110 weekend with camping. Children between 12 and 16 years old tickets are priced at £50 for the weekend, £60 for weekend with camping. N.B. Children between 12 – 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged under 12 have free entry with a ticket holding adult. Campervan tickets are priced at £60.

Day tickets are available Friday adult tickets are priced at £40, Saturday or Sunday tickets are priced at £45. Kids tickets are priced at £30 for each of the three days.

Held in Stoke Park, in Guildford, visitors can expect a weekend featuring seven stages of live music, the Cosmic Comedy Zone, Theatre Tent, amazing Kidzone, as well as unique attractions such as Farmer Giles Barndance, The 70s Disco, the brand new Ceroc Dance Tent, UNISONzone, massive late licensed bar, Calypso Cocktail bar, great food and drink from around the world, and much more besides!
