More acts including an exclusive appearance of Good Charlotte have been announced for this summer's Sonisphere at Hertfordshire's Knebworth House.

Good Charlotte
Joining the line-up on the Apollo Stage on Saturday is Good Charlotte making their only UK festival appearance of 2010. There are more exclusive appearances from US noisemakers Converge and sludge metallers Kylesa, who both fly in from the States to appear on Bohemia and Red Bull stages respectively.

Another festival exclusive comes in the form of comedian Brian Posehn's debut UK performance. Brian starred in 'The Office - An American Workplace', as well as his recently released music video 'Metal By Numbers', and films such as 'The Devils Rejects' and 'Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer' and programs including 'Just Shoot Me', 'Seinfeld' and 'Friends'. Speaking of his first UK performance, the American funnyman said, "As an American metal head it's long been a dream of mine to attend one of the UK's famous summer music festivals, the fact that I get to make my UK debut at Sonisphere is insanely cool. To be on the same bill as Maiden and Anthrax is a metal nerd dream I never thought would come true. Sonisphere Knebworth is sure to be a three day metal nerdgasm."

New additions to the Jagermeister stage include a headline appearance from Earthtone9, plus Little London, Out Of Sight, and Tiger Please.

Chrome Hoof have been announced as Saturday Strongbow Bowtime Bar headliners with Straight Lines confirmed to appear on Sunday.

The latest confirmations join the previous announced acts which include headliners Iron Maiden (only UK show of 2010), Rammstein (first ever UK festival appearance), with Motley Crue, Alice Cooper, The Cult, Iggy & The Stooges, Anthrax, Placebo, Papa Roach, and more.
