Plan B cancels appearance at Jersey Live

filming schedule prevents festival performance

Wednesday 28th July 2010

The organisers of Jersey Live Festival have been notified by the agent of Plan B that his performance on the main stage at Jersey Live Festival on Sunday 5th September has been cancelled.

Jersey Live Festival which happens on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September 2010 have been notified by an official statement which reads:

"Due to an unforeseen change to the filming schedule of Plan B's directorial Debut 'Ill Manors', we are all very sorry to announce that Plan B will have to cancel his appearance at Jersey Live Festival. We are very sorry that we have had to cancel and apologise to those fans who were looking forward to seeing him perform."
Peter Elliott, Primary Talent.

Warren Le Sueur, Co Director of Jersey Live said, "We understand that this news will be upsetting for some people as it for us, but this is completely beyond our control. Ben (Plan B) is also an actor and film director, and a change in the filming schedule for his next movie, means that Plan B's management have had to cancel Jersey Live and another festival show on the same weekend. We are currently considering alternative arrangements, which we will hope to release as soon as possible."

Headlined by Paul Weller and Groove Armada, also on the Main Stage are Chase & Status, Plan B, Tinie Tempah, Darwin Deez, We Have Band, Peggy Sue and Django Django, with Saturday night's headliner and many more acts due to be confirmed shortly.

For the Dance Arena, confirmations include Saturday night headliner Calvin Harris, also Subfocus, Jaguar Skills, Drums of Death, Foamo, DJ Rafik, Rico Tubbs, with many more acts still to be confirmed.
