Win tickets to see Ellie Goulding & Sunday Girl

winners details

Tuesday 17th August 2010

WIN GIG TICKETS!

with Sunday Girl

a pair of concert tickets to see Ellie Goulding & Sunday Girl at a venue of your choice

Just answer the simple question below!

eFestivals has teamed up with Sunday Girl to give our readers the chance to win a pair of tickets to see her supporting Ellie Goulding on tour.

21 year-old Jade Williams earned her stage-name thanks to the forgetful customers of the pet shop she worked in every Sunday when she was 14 years old. Jade explains, "No one ever knew what I was called; they just used to call me 'Sunday Girl' and that sort of stuck."

However the music of this Sunday Girl isn't just for the weekend; she makes music for every day of the week. Building on the success of her debut single 'Four Floors', Sunday Girl is about to keep the online buzz alive with a cover of one her favourite ever tracks 'Self Control'.

Originally by RAF it was massive '80's Italo disco classic that was later to became a huge hit Stateside for Laura Branigan. Sunday Girl's version mixes a dancefloor-friendly acidic production with her own wry pop delivery.

To buy a copy of Sunday Girl's single 'Self Control' click here.

You can see Sunday Girl supporting Ellie Goulding on one of the following tour dates:

Wed 03 November Academy 1, 2, 3 & 4 (Manchester University), Manchester
Sat 13 November O2 Academy Bristol, Bristol
