Daft Punk not playing Spain's Arenal Sound Festival?

Update: eFestivals has been informed that reports from Spain suggesting Daft Punk, may be playing a festival in Spain under the name The Third Twin are looking untrue.

References to Daft Punk playing as The Third Twin have disappeared and it looks as though the band are not Daft Punk.

The Arenal Sound Festival takes place on the beach of El Arenal de Burriana near Valencia from Thursday 4th until Sunday 7th August 2011 and The Third Twin are the only act so far confirmed for the festival. Ticket prices have not yet been confirmed, and tickets are not yet on sale.

Arenal have issued a statement saying, "The Third Twin, first confirmation for the line up of the Arenal Sound 2011. The Third Twin is a French electronic music duo who are getting a lot of hype around the business in the recent months. They will play the second edition of the festival which takes place from August 4-7 at the Playa El Arenal from Burriana, Castellón, Spain. The announcement of this mysterious group opens the Arenal Sound line up 2011."
