We Are Scientists and Guillemots are the latest line-up additions for the multi-city, multi-venue Dot to Dot festival taking place over the last bank holiday in May.

We Are Scientists
Joining the bill for all three dates, New York based We Are Scientists are renowned for their spontaneous and electric live show, alloying post punk attitude with dance beats and incessant hooks. Playing a set that will span their four acclaimed albums this May Bank Holiday weekend.

Also performing in all three cities, Mercury Prize nominated indie rockers Guillemots will be offering the chance to catch them showcasing material from their anticipated third album, 'Walk the River'.

Commenting on the new line-up additions Dot To Dot Organiser Anton Lockwood said: "Today we're excited to add two of our long term favourite bands to the ever growing Dot To Dot line-up. We Are Scientists never fail to deliver an energetic and fun live show, and will definitely bring the party to Dot To Dot 2011. Guillemots are a band reinvigorated after Fyfe Dangerfield's solo excursions, and it will be great to see their new, tightly focussed live show. And we've got many, many more new breakthrough bands to come! Can't wait!"

They join the acts previously confirmed who are Hurts, The Joy Formidable, And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, The Naked And Famous, Braids, Cults, Darwin Deez, Mona, Ed Sheeran, The Phoenix Foundation, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, and more with many more still to be announced.

Dot To Dot Event Organiser Anton Lockwood Commented, "This latest announcement brings some artists to Dot To Dot that we are long term fans of, like the mighty Trail of Dead, the stunning Joy Formidable, together with some of the most exciting new artists around like Cults and Braids. We aren't forgetting the electronic music fans either, adding highly respected artists SBTRKT and Blawan to an ever growing bill. And there's plenty more to come...."

The Dot To Dot Festival will take place from Saturday 29th May until Monday 31st May in various venues. Bristol hosts the event on the Saturday, with a similar event the day after in Manchester, and the Monday night is the turn of Nottingham to play host.

Tickets are priced at £20 for Manchester, and £25 for Nottingham and Bristol. To buy tickets, click here.
