events returns for three days next May - tickets on sale Friday
Wednesday 9th November 2011
Slayer, and Guided By Voices will join this year's curators Mogwai for I'll Be Your Mirror held in London next summer.
On the opening night Slayer will present their undisputed classic 'Reign In Blood' live in it's entirety during their Friday headline set to celebrate it's 25th anniversary! Joining Slayer on Friday night are Sleep, and Melvins with more to be confirmed.
Saturday curators Mogwai headline what will be their only show in England in 2012, with Mudhoney, and reformed American slow-core band Codeine playing their first shows since 1994. More of Mogwai's choices are to be confirmed very soon.
Sunday is headlined by reformed indie rock legends Guided By Voices playing their first UK show since 2003 with their classic line-up in the lead up to a new album release. They will be joined by a full line-up of acts including Yuck.
Acting as sister events to the ATP Festivals which usually take place in holiday resorts, and named after the b-side to The Velvet Underground's original All Tomorrow's Parties 7" single, I'll Be Your Mirror started last year as a new series of artist curated music, film and art events taking place in cities worldwide. The new event is held at Alexandra Palace, London next year over three days from Friday to Sunday 27th May 2012.
There will be more acts, exclusives, DJs and other activities confirmed for all three days in the coming months. Across the weekend organisers will be bringing to the venue a cinema, food vendors, adding extra bars (including some cash bars) and toilets and also putting on shuttle buses from public transport locations to the venue and back to ensure the best experience possible for everyone that attends.
Early Bird weekend tickets are priced at £120 for the weekend, and will go on sale on Friday 11th November, and efestivals will have links to buy them then.
