65daysofstatic, and Pulled Apart By Horses for 2000trees

Friday's headline acts will be 65daysofstatic on the main stage, Pulled Apart By Horses on The Cave and The Xcerts on the Leaf Lounge at the sixth 2000trees happening from Thursday 12th until Saturday 14th July 2012 at Upcote Farm, Withington, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

Also announced today are Rolo Tomassi, The Xcerts, Johnny Foreigner, My First Tooth, Brontide, Turbowolf, Freeze The Atlantic, The Marmozets, Run,Walk!, Shapes, The Bronze Medal, Goodnight Lenin, The Cadbury Sisters, Sam Russo, Jason Steel, and Sam Brookes.

Organiser James Scarlett said, "We have searched the UK for the very best new and underground music, plus we've had over a thousand applications from talented bands and hundreds of suggestions from our fans.

"We're delighted with the line-up so far and we hope everyone sees lots that they like too. I for one cannot wait to hear them all live at Upcote Farm this summer."

The first acts confirmed were Imperial Leisure, Tellison, Tall Ships, Straight Lines, and The Cape of Good Hope, who will all appear on early entry Thursday. No other acts have been announced yet. More than 80 live acts will entertain thousands of music fans for two days of music on four stages, plus comedy, DJs, headphone disco, quality and value food & drink, and a trader village.

The festival has given away a ticket for life to lucky winner Charlotte Rich. And Graham Raeburn of Manchester won a golden ticket.

A weekend ticket is priced at £66. Children aged 0 to 10 years old can go free but require a ticket and children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Early Entry tickets for Thursday are priced at £14. A join ticket with sister festival 'Y-Not' in Derbyshire is priced at £117. Last year's event sold out in advance.
