The second family friendly Alresford Music Festival takes place at The Avenue, Alresford seven miles from Winchester, in Hampshire on Saturday 18th June 2011.

Line-up

The first acts confirmed are headliners Dodgy, plus Hattie Jacques Playlist, PressGang, Ben Goddard, Audio Guns, Jambo Reign, Karma Sun, The Elizans, Denovo, The Skore, Hendrix Gets the Horne, and RattleWreck.

Tickets

An adult ticket is priced at £15, student or teens (aged 10-17 years) tickets are priced at £10, children aged 9 and under get in free, a family ticket (2 x adult tickets and 2 x under 18s tickets) is priced at £40. Disabled tickets are priced at£10 with an adult accompanying ticket also priced at £10. To buy tickets, click here.

The 2011 Alresford Music Festival will feature dual stages with bands alternating between them to keep the music flowing and will kick off 12 noon (gates open 1030) through till 12 midnight. This year the event will have a new Big Top circus style beer tent. The festival will offer local food outlets and other traders.

Children

Younger festival goers will have access to the Glade area where an assortment of fun and frolics will be available to keep them entertained throughout the day.

Charity

The good causes being supported in 2011 are the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation and the Alresford Youth Association.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
