As mighty as Fairport,Spiers & Boden, a multi award-winning duo will be headlining on the same stage on Saturday night and this occasion forms part of their Farewell Tour, John & Jon are also founding members of the wildly ambitious eleven piece big-band folk phenomenon, Bellowhead.

Roddy Woomble will also be appearing and his naturally poetic writing and consistent touring have won him many thousands of fans all over the world, and he is now widely regarded as one of Scotland 's finest songwriters.

It doesn’t end there though and with over 40 top class live performances over the full weekend, and a chance to enjoy performances from Nizlopi, Lucy Ward, Gigspanner Jim Moray, Martha Tilston, Gaz Brookfield, Sam Sweeney & Hannah James, Josienne Clarke & Ben Walters, The Hut People, Phillip Henry & Hannah Martin, India Electric Co., Hattie Briggs, Fabian Holland, RSVP, The Cadbury Sisters, Folk Law, The Willows, Ninebarrow, Paper Aeroplanes, Matthew & Me, The Black Feathers, The Longest Johns, The Lonely Tourist, James Baxter Rhodes, and Bad Cardigans.

Plus there's a range of other interesting diversions, including, Isambard awards, Morris dancers, Mummers, Maypoles, Ceilidhs, Workshops, a market, our ever popular posh loos.

Colston Hall are also joining in on the Sunday, by hosting no less than The Full English May Day Fayre - for Free The Kidnap Stage is also being introduced this year, a brand new innovation, that will give un-signed and emerging artists the chance to ‘kidnap’ some time in the programme to reveal their talents to an unsuspecting audience, giving them the chance to catch some exceptional fledgling musicians.
