Donington Park, Leics, England MAP

The problem with festivals is that quite often the sound is terrible due to no sound check. However Therapy? managed to get a superb sound at Download, which I imagine is down to their impressive soundman.

The last time I saw Therapy? play Donington was way back in 1995 when they supported Metallica. Jesus that was one hell of a set, I can remember it well... anyway onto this years performance.

It was weird seeing Therapy? play whilst it was still daylight outside - it just didn’t feel right at all. The band just crammed all of their killer hits into the short allotted time they had been given.

‘Isolation’, ‘Going Nowhere’, and even a dedication to John Peel with ‘Die Laughing’ were all included in this set. Therapy? certainly managed to pull a big crowd as there weren’t any empty spaces in the Napster tent.

This was one of the few bands that genuinely know how to rock, and they impressed the hell out of every one that came to see them play at Download! Fingers crossed they will get that main stage status very shortly!
