At this year's Download festival eFestivals caught up with Mia Klose and drummer Henry Rogers for a quick interview.

How was it playing to the Download crowd?

It was great, there was a lot more people than we were expecting. The crowd reaction was really good. It was more than we could have hoped for.

Are you sticking around to catch any other bands?

We managed to catch Twisted Sister but apart from that we have been busy doing promo interviews all weekend.

Do you have any singles due out soon?

We have recorded everything but the vocals for the next single, so once we have done that it will be released.

You have mastered many instruments, Which is your favourite instrument?

My voice, the voice is an instrument just like any other. I have played violins since i was 5 years old and I have played drums as well.

Interviewer looks at Henry Rogers (Drummer) and asks..

Do you feel intimidated playing with someone who is also able to play drums at a high level?

Henry: It actually keeps me on my toes.

Mia: I’m not as good as Henry.

Will you be touring the UK soon?

We have just been on tour with Steel Panther, and we are going to Germany with them in a couple of weeks time. We will also be on tour with Sebastian Bach and Duff Mckagen.

Are you influenced by Guns N Roses?

I love them. So you can imagine how great it is to be supporting Sebastian Bach and Duff Mckagen.

As the drummer of the band, how do you feel with it being under Mia's name?

Henry: I feel as I’m an equal part of the band, we all put our ideas forward and come up together with songs even though it is Mia's name that fans see.

Mia: They are permanent members of the band.

Do you have any advice for anyone wanting to become a successful musician?

Work your ass off. No other way. There are no shortcuts, just work your ass off.

Mia's album 'London' is available to buy from itunes or:-
