One lucky winner (plus a friend) will get the chance to come and experience Evolution which happens at Spiller's Wharf on the Gateshead quayside on the Diamond Jubilee Bank Holiday weekend on Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th June 2012.

North East biggest music event taking place over 2 days on the Quay Side, bringing the biggest music acts to perform in front of a rapturous young audience of 25,000 people per day. Headline acts are Dizzee Rascal, Deadmau5, DJ Fresh, and SBTRKT, plus special guests Maximo Park.

This is your chance to also see Miles Kane, Noah and the Whale, Rizzle Kicks, Devlin, Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Band Of Skulls, Jack Beats, Shy FX, Friction, Toddla T, Dot Rotten, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Maya Jane Coles, Citizen, Codename:Tyrone, Dog Is Dead, Lulu James, Theme Park, The Lake Poets, Here We Go Magic, Spector, Jess Ware, The Milk, Mausi, Eats Everything, Jackmaster, People Get Real, and Mike Jones. Alongside hosting some of the biggest acts on the planet Evolution will once again introduce the crowd to a wealth of emerging local talent on the third stage - partnered with Generator this stage gives local talent a chance to get their foot on the ladder and play to the biggest crowd of their careers to date.

There is still more to announce including the Evolution Emerging programme, Music Futures and the Jumpin Hot Club programme of shows that will be wrapped around Gateshead venues.

Organisers have announced a price freeze for 2012 with weekend tickets priced at £35, or £25 for a day ticket. To buy tickets, click here.
