As well as an array of talented musicians, festival goers get the opportunity to take part in a variety of workshops, breathe in the country air, have a massage, drink cold beer, lick an ice-cream, or watch a show. There's a chance to have a dance, do some yoga, maybe immersed in the healing sounds of a gong bath, wander the fields and natter with fellow festies. Or find our hobgoblin area with its tiny wine bar and have a tarot reading.

Children can find traditional story-telling in the kids tipi tent, take part in street dancing or circus skills, stroke a shetland pony and munch on mini pancakes.

There will also be a fire show on Saturday night. Plus stalls, hog roast, catering marquee, Oyster & Champange tent on Saturday pre Art Auction which is being opened a mezzo soprano, local footballers activity for kids and much more.
.
The event has camping facilities £10 per night, spaces subject to availability, accompanying carers are being given free entry, and there's ample parking for day visitors.

Freedom Fun Festivals 2009 are launching a 'Rock Hatch at Knock Hatch: You Own the Stage. Details of the competition are on the festival's website. All bands are welcome to enter, not just from Brighton and Hove. The idea is to promote local musical talent and to provide a performance venue. The entries will be whittled down to 4 by a panel of judges on 19th June, and those 4 will be invited to take part in a head to head competition at the Freedom Fun Festival, near Hailsham, East Sussex at 7pm Saturday June 27th. The winning band will perform a 1/2hr set on the main stage at 9.30pm the same night AND their first single release will be sponsored by Bad Influence Records.

More information will be here when available.
