a pair of tickets for Fso4 London Freeze

There's a pair of tickets up for grabs - just answer the simple question below!

Taking place from Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November at Battersea Power Station, top snow sports and music festival FSO4 Freeze combines the World’s best snowboarders and skiers with a massive music line up to match. For the very first time, in 2009, international charity ActionAid will also be bringing its Bollocks to Poverty experience.

The Bollocks to Poverty experience is all about fighting global poverty by doing something you love. This year the focus is climate change with its Food vs. Dust campaign.

With a top gaming and chill out area, ActionAid will also be giving festival goers the chance to do their bit on the issue and be photographed with a message for the UK Government, ahead of December’s crucial climate change summit in Copenhagen.

Climate change already causes 300,000 deaths a year and it is the poorest people in the world who are worst affected. Unpredictable and extreme weather means they cannot grow the food they need to survive and for millions it equals hunger, poverty and death.

The summit will see world leaders meeting to discuss ways to halt climate change. The outcome could decide if millions of people face a future of food or dust.

ActionAid is calling on people all over the country to make sure UK politicians get the message loud and clear that the time to act is now.

Anella Wickenden said: "Climate change is not just killing the snowboarding season or good skating conditions, but killing people. It’s the poorest people who are hit worse.

"We want everyone at FSO4 Freeze to visit Bollocks to Poverty and send a message to our PM. Our government must make the Copenhagen summit count to make sure we face a future of food not dust."
