Woah! I'm lost for words. These last few days will stay with me 'till the day I die. Having been to Donnington, Reading, V97, Ozzfest, Gatecrasher, The Heineken festival, and a couple of others I just expected the usual festival experience. Hah! The sheer size of the place and the amount of stuff to do is unreal. The bands there were top notch and everything else was even better. I'd need a week to see the place properly, 3 days just isn't enough. Especially when you only arrive on Friday narrowly missing Fat boy slim. Ouch, that hurt. Still the Chemicals rocked. Well from what I could hear of 'em. I couldn't get in the tent. Lets have a bigger one next year please, Or put the BIG acts on a stage. Coxie was back to his best (not too impressed with last weeks performance Nice to see it's not just dance music in there, I'm not a big fan of Drum & Bass but I enjoyed it anyway ( the mitsi's helped). Sunday! God damn it! How good was Sunday. A BIG shout to the 'perverts & DJ Cash Mony for kickin' them old skool beats and shakin' my ass! As for Skunk Anansie, well what can I say except SELL OUTS! C'mon Skin where's the mad psycho bitch we know and love? I saw you guys back in '95 and I though you were awesome, such energy and passion for the music, but now? Well if you can headline the best festival on earth by sellin' out, go ahead. I just feel sorry for Cass and Ace. I could tell they just wanted to go mad on that big stage but you can't go mad to the kinda shit you're doin' now. C'mon Skin stop the act, you can't sing, screaming suits you better. Metal is you roots, don't forget that when you're cashin' in your royalty cheques.
Ahh that felt good, I had to get that out of my system, anyway. I'd just like to thank everybody responsible for the best festival I've ever been to and I'll seeyall next year, just try and stop me!
