My fourth festival and maybe its been said before, but the best! Thats despite two of the others being sunny!
As in previous festivals the bands were not the most important part of it, but a key thing to arrange your time around.
As they were I found Bare Naked Ladies the best band I saw, with REM a close second, but only due to Michael Stipe's amazing performance, lunatic that he is.
The appearance of the White Ship on Sunday night topped the festival for me and Dave, being totally out of it as we were, we found following the Ship through the festival to the Cabaret tent (which we couldn't find that evening ourselves) to be quite a mystical route to Pyromania. Shame Pyromania itself was crap.
Didn't get anything nicked, which was a relief after last year, where we caught people coming out of our tents.
Storming festival, but I think the highlight might have been being served two pints of export for 50p while listening to Susan Vega. Stoned barstaff are the best!
