This year was my first Glasto, and never before have I experienced such a high and such a low in one weekend. I went with a group of friends who go every year and so thought I would be prepared! Wrong - nothing can prepare you for that, you have to experience it.

Really big highs for me were The Bloodhound Gang, who were absolutely brilliant, I was really impressed (and I don't impress easily let me tell you) and The Chemical Brothers, who after a completely pissed off moment with Moby really started the Festival off properly for me.

I did think, and as a first timer you notice these things, that there were certain things that could have been changed. Firstly, the Moby incident. Why oh why oh why oh why was Moby on The Other Stage when "two bingly bongly hits" Macy "Marge Simpson" Gray was on the Pyramid???!! Moby would have been fantastic could we have seen or heard him, but to put him on what is essentially an inferior stage with an inferior sound system and no screens was a travesty. It must have been the biggest pull of the weekend. We really wanted to see him, but had to leave in disgust after getting practically trampled to death, and we weren't even near the front. I don't know about anyone else, but I like my personal space, know what I mean.

There have been lots of comments about the toilets, and it being my first time, I can't really comment that much, but I have to say they were better than V99 last year at Weston Park, but only the open ones, chemical toilets are really nasty, and why do people feel the need to shit on the seat? Do they do that at home. One comment I have about the open toilets thou - put some locks on the doors, several times I had the door opened on me and I opened it on other people, theres nothing more unnerving when you've got your pants round your ankles than wondering if someone's going to get a look at you bits, and whilst were on the subject, the tops were a bit low, anyone over 5ft 8 could have a right perve if it so took them - remember that personal space thing.

The one thing that really pissed me off though were the "jumpers". I have heard that around 15 thousand people jumped over the wall. If you were one of them, then your'e a f*****g scumbag who shouldn't be allowed to walk the earth. Not only does jumping over overcrowd the festival and cause safety issues, but you are depriving all of the charities that benefit from the ticket price proceeds, which is after all, what the festival aims to do. And we will not go into the fact that you are taking the piss out of every other decent person who pays £87 for the same experience that you scum sucking whores think you have a devine right to get for free. 15 thousand less people would have made everything a lot easier for everyone, and I reckon I could have managed to see Moby. Twice I was asked if I wanted to sell my ticket stubb - you two people were lucky I was so chilled out, count yourselves damm lucky that I didn't twat you for being cheeky f***ers. Needless to say I declined. Come on Mr Eavis, sort out this security, I know its a big event to organise, but these people are taking the piss, they still use the facilities etc but you get to clean up after them for free - nice!!

All in all though, I had a great time, (one that looked dubious on the Thursday when it was raining and the mud pits were starting to form, visions of mudfests 97 & 98 filled my mind), and fully intend coming back next year, (but please don't put Travis on the main stage on a Saturday night, I' a fan but they are a bit depressing, I wanted to slit my wrists by the end of their set!!)
