I spent a lot of the time at the circus, it wasn't a kiddies circus it was a grown-ups circus. One of my favorite acts was by 'The happy side show' made up by four people 'space cowboy, tiger lily and two more men which I've forgotten their act name.
Anyway in one of their acts Space put a 2½ foot sword down his neck and into his stomach (he told us that when he was born he had two stomachs (disease). The sword was tied to a dartboard and a guy threw darts at it on a pogo stick! Imagine the shock waves!
Another
thing they did, was firing a bean into Space's mouth using a sling shot
with a laser to aim with. A member of the audience signed the bean and
when the bean came out she recognized her signature.
Space is a very good whip cracker and in one of the acts, one of the guys
stuck a candle up his arse and space chopped it in half with the whip.
A famous person I saw at the circus was Les Bubb , he has his own kiddies program called 'hubbub.' He also appeared on Blue Peter showing some of his acts. In the show I saw, it was absolutely amazing - Les was pretending a balloon was really heavy and didn't move. He also chased a bottle around the stage using his hands. At the end I got one of his balloons, but I left it at the cinema watching 'Kevin & Perry go LARGE' at 2am. (by the way K&PGL isn't that good, it's really funny and sick in some parts but the rest isn't that good.)
