I would like to thank everyone involved in organising this years festival and also send my commiserations to all on the clean up teams cos you've got a mammoth task there.

This year was my first Glastonbury, and after having been to Pheonix in 96 and 97 I can honestly say it was nothing like I expected. I had the best time of my life in those fields and never once saw a hand raised in anger , although I'm pretty sure there must have been a few with 100,000 people jostling for position.

Highlights for me were Death in Vegas, whose dirty punky funky stylee blew my head off, Zion Train (who live not far from me in Pembrokeshire) in the firestarter tent who really are one of the best live bands about blending dub with techno using horns a DJ and a wicked singer, Asian Dub Foundation who were on far far too early but who rocked like God on a Harley, Elastica, Nine Inch Nails (Trent Reznor is almost God), and Dave Tipper (the man knows how to induce spontaneous muscle contractions throught the medium of thundering bass ).

Having said that, the toppermost top bit was the sunday afternoon(I think) at the pyramid stage with Jools, fingers, Holland. That man has more class than several extremly large containers overflowing with purest liquid class. It was just absolutely wicked. Even my mate Dave was up and dancing and he's been
clinically dead since last october! Nuff said.

Untill next year, heeeewwwwwwge thanx and praise and worship etc

Your ever attentive and servile wretch,
