A slow start to the day after the excesses of Saturday night had the crowds shuffling around finding the quieter activities...
Jools Holland played to an appreciative crowd on the Pyramid Stage, and later on played at the piano bar called Spacecraft in the Craft Field, accompanied by Michael Eavis on vocals. Jools then played a few numbers himself, and was followed by Billy Bragg who performed Jabberwocky.
The non-music stages remain popular, with the expected jugglers, comedians and other mad acts providing quality alternatives to the music.
David Bowie drew a huge crowd - if Select's report that the Chemical Brothers on Friday had the biggest ever crowd at Glastonbury is true (which our own memories immediately doubt) then Bowie was privileged to draw nearly twice as many. The set consisted of a large amount of oldies much to the crowds delight, but some of those we've spoken to seemed to think that although they enjoyed him they probably wouldn't bother to see him again if given the chance.
As stages closed down around midnight, those still up for action headed on down to the Market are for the "better than you think" (and quieter than you'd like) techno stall.
In this mornings hot sunshine the crowd are packing up and heading home - we're sure they've enjoyed themselves...
We'll have the first of our full performance reviews, personal reviews, and extensive photographs online within the next 24 hours... first we have to get home!
