After seeing Moby on Friday night, I thought it would be difficult to top his performance, but Travis managed it.
From the minute they came on they gave the crowd what they wanted, playing a lot of stuff of 'The Man Who' and they even gave everyone a bit of a rest whilst playing 'Slideshow'. It was an uplifting experience being part of a 60,000 strong group of backing singers, a surprising amount of which new the words to 'Baby One More Time' when Travis did the Britney Spears cover as part of their encore.
My only complaint was playing 'Driftwood' and 'Why Does it always rain on me' a bit early in the set as not too many people recognised the cover of 'The Weight'.
See you there next year!
