After seeing Longview for the first time a year earlier, I came into the tent expecting more of the same. I worked my way down to the front row right in the middle of the stage. At the beginning it seemed they were having technical problems. The bass amp would cut out again later during the set.
Doug walked out on stage before the rest of the band and started playing a few riffs on his guitar before the rest of the band came out. They played through a selection of songs from the excellent debut album 'Mercury' and two new songs including the new single In A Dream and Coming Down.
The band seemed very surprised at the response they got from the crowd, which grew to quite a size! They one of a few bands which were honestly surprised by their growing popularity. I'd definately recommend going to see them. One of the bands of the festival for me.
