This cafe is in the markets between the Other Stage and the Jazzworld Stage. It's being run by Concrete Recordings (who release the Glastonbury Unsigned CD, of the bands in the Unsigned Competition), along with Oxfam who are promoting their Control Arms campaign.
The lack of control of the arms trade is fuelling conflict, poverty, and human rights abuses - worldwide. Every government is responsible.
Oxfam, Amnesty International and IANSA (International Action Network on Small Arms) are campaigning for a global arms trade treaty, to bring the trade in weapons under control. The Arms Trade Treaty would create a legally binding agreement to regulate the arms trade, and ensure that all countries work to the same standard.
Over half a million people are killed by armed violence every year: that's one person every minute.
Musically, each day starts from 10am until 3pm with the Classic Album Contemplation Breakfast - or the proper DJ's are in bed - playing classic albums form the likes of Talking Heads, The Jam, Pink Floyd, Pulp, The beatles and Oasis.
