The band are a bit shocked, they were told they were playing a bar tent stage only to discover the place is rammed with 3500 monkey fans and it's only lunchtime! Still blissfully unaware of the kind of weather that's about to hit us, we happily dance about to 'Astral Eyes', 'Hubbadiliah' and even those new to 3DM are getting caught up in the fiddle, guitar, drum and bass. New song 'Social Vertigo' is clearly a favourite and what's this even the guy on the camera in front of the stage is tapping his feet.
He'll be spinning and gyrating any moment now just like the ever increasing number of dancing folk at the front. They tell us they'll next be appearing at the Bimble Inn later (where they were wonderful too) and there they announce more performances and keep popping up all over the weekend.
But this for me was my favourite performance of theirs at Glasto, the band were pleased to have so many people there, the crowd loved the performance, and it had a genuine Glastonbury atmosphere about it. As they said not sure they're billed correctly as Cornish Revolutionaries in the programme as vocalist Tim says he's from up country - I forget where! But their blend of Balkan Gypsy inspired punk folk works wonders. It's just a shame so many leave before Dan Donnelly takes to the smaller stage.
