Another band I see on a recommendation. well I'm also handed some badges promoting them attached to a T shirt the day before. I'm rather surprised to see them playing on the small stage at Leftfield, and glad to see they've attracted quite a crowd.
Slam dunkin rock with an infectious soulful rhythm and a fair slice of power riffs! The band get hot and sweaty just ahead of the crowd. Well worth seeing live, the music's got balls and swarthed in melody. This is performance rock in the style of Nirvana, it feels fresh and vibrant and the crowd love it, the sound set up on the stage is a bit pants though and it's hard to hear the lyrics well where we are standing.
There's a strong core of the crowd at the front repeating them, but I think my hearing's a bit stuffed as I still can't catch a word from the Bristol based outfit. They sound tighter than many of the acts billed on the big stages, and if their lyrics are as good as the music, they'll be on their way to a bright future.
