After an excellent Friday and Saturday, unfortunately Sunday failed to deliver. With much of the main two stages staging lengthy performances from fill-in DJs such as Wonky Pop DJs, this gave me a chance to investigate the other two stages located in the Dance Village, the Dance Lounge and the G Stage.

The G Stage concentrated mainly on Dubstep and Drum & Bass DJs, seeing in performances from the likes of Chase & Status, High Contrast and a special appearance from Benga.

The Dance Lounge offered a wide and eclectic range of acts, such as DJ sets from Welsh comedy rappers Goldie Lookin' Chain and Radio 6 Music's Craig Charles, doing a funk and soul set, to live performances from the likes of Reverend And The Makers.

However, there were notable performances on the main dance stages from Kissy Sell Out, Calvin Harris, and Peaches.

Kissy Sell Out
On the East Dance Stage, new Radio One DJ Kissy Sell Out played a live performance with his backing band, with songs such as 'Essex Girls' being warmly received by the sizeable crowd.

Headlining the same stage that night was Calvin Harris, playing a set which included fans' favourites 'Born in the 80s' and 'Not Alone', causing a mass frenzy of dancing for many to end their weekend in style.

Over on the West Dance Stage, Peaches brought along her own brand of dirty electro showcasing songs from her new album, I Feel Cream, which saw collaborations with the likes of Soulwax, Digitalism and Simian Mobile Disco. Songs such as 'Lose You' and 'Show Stopper' proved to be an excellent way to end the weekend for the audience, and also the organisers of the Dance Village, who put together a very successful line-up, despite the lack of big names present on the final evening.

I personally enjoyed my first weekend at Glastonbury, and thought the Dance Village was definitely the highlight. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the Press Liaison team in the Dance Village who were both great and friendly people and were always willing to help out I needed it.
