Ed Sheeran @ BBC Introducing
This is an interview for eFestivals, have you ever visited the site?
I have actually yeah.

Have you ever played Glastonbury before?
I haven't, it's my first year, as a punter and as a performer.

So, are you here all weekend?
Yeah I am, I got here Thursday and leave Monday morning.

How are you finding it?
Really, large.

So do you have a highlight yet?
I haven’t really been to see any bands, I’ve done about 5 gigs so far, and I’ve got another few performances to get out the way. I’m looking forward to Beyoncé, that will be my highlight.

So what advice would you give to festival goers?
Get some wellies! And have a great time.

Is there anyone on the bill you’re looking forward to seeing?
Beyoncé, Coldplay, I’m a Coldplay fan.

Have you done any festivals already this summer?
yes, I did Beach Break Live and Ocean Festival, and then I’m doing Reading and Leeds, and Latitude, and stuff like that which is great.

What other festivals are you looking forward to?
Reading and Leeds. That will be my first year at that one, it will be fun.

What was the first festival you ever went to?
Latitude, that was great, really good festival.

Which bands and Artists have influenced your music?
Damien Rice, Nizlopi.

What's your one essential item you take on tour?
iPad. iPad, yeah.

So what's been your most memorable festival appearance? And tell us about it?
Beach Break Live a couple of weeks ago was pretty amazing, there was about 18,000 kids who knew my songs.

What's the last music you bought?
I just bought Bon Iver's album

What piece of advice would you give to someone coming to Glastonbury for the first time?
Never leave your mates because you'll get lost and you won't be able to find them again.

If you ran a stall at a festival what would you sell?
Coffee.

Finally, anything you'd like to say to our readers?
Have a good summer of festivals!
