Iconic and unique, Glastonbury is the legendary forerunner of music festivals. Beautifully filmed in epic CinemaScope and recreated as new from a wealth of previously unseen material, Glastonbury the Movie: In Flashback is a revealing snapshot of British cultural history drops you right in the middle of the best of the old-school pre TV camera Glastonburys.
If you were there you're in it and if not you'll wish you had been as you are immersed in a no-holds-barred trip through music, magic and midsummer madness. Hailed as "a masterpiece" by Academy Award winner Mike Leigh on its initial release, Glastonbury The Movie: In Flashback is a must-see for all festival fans. The film features amazing live performances from Charlie Creed-Miles and Dexter Fletcher, Co-Creators, Lemonheads, Omar, Stereo MCs, Spiritualized, The Verve, Chuck Prophet, McKoy, Porno For Pyros, Ozric Tentacles, Airto Moreira, Back to the Planet, The Orb, and more.
Directed by the award winning Robin Mahoney, the film captures the raw sense of the great British festival, "From the point of view of festival goers, and not just point our cameras at the bands, we've ended up with a telling picture of British life at that time."
