You of course need a ticket, which needs to be bought in advance (expected on sale in October in 2012). If travelling by car, you also need a parking ticket (per vehicle, not occupant). Tickets are not available at the gates. For the full ticket information, please see here.
Don't hand your ticket to any other than the people at the turnstiles (so that means when you are walking!) at the 13 foot steel fence (you'll know that you're there when you see it, it's huge).
You may be required to SHOW it before then, but don't hand it over!
The Festival allows early arrivals park up from 9.00pm on the Tuesday. Campervan and caravan areas would be open from noon on Tuesday. All vehicles must be off the site by 5pm on the Monday.
The gates open at 8am Wednesday - you cannot get onto the site before then.
Don't try to carry masses of stuff (tent, etc) in one go.
You could have a long walk to find a decent spot to camp - and the stewards will direct newcomers away from fields that are full for everyone's safety.
