Grendon Festival takes place biannually in the village of Grendon Underwood, Buckinghamshire. Held this year after a wash out in June on new dates on Friday 7th, and Saturday 8th September 2012. The event hopes to raise money for some good causes and give the local musical talent an opportunity to perform to a live audience.

Line-up

Friday: features a line-up of comedy from Roland Muldoon and up and coming plus local acts including Otiz Cannelloni, Brian Damage and Krysstal, Mark Maier and compere Maureen Younger. Local talent also gets a chance with an open-mic night.
Saturday: 3 big tribute bands (Noasis, Olivia Leigh (Adele), and Kazabian) plus 28 support acts across 3 stages including The Vinyls, Nigel Passey Band, Dead Wolf Club, 48krash, 18 Nightmares At The lux, The Pistons, The Indegenerates, Young Peaks, Million Faces, Babyfaced Assassins, The Meds Collective, and Go On Do It Jump.

Tickets

Tickets are priced at £20 for adults, £10 for youths (under 10s are free when accompanied by an adult), and £50 for a family ticket. A limited number of tickets will be available on the day subject to availability. To buy tickets, click here.

The date for refunds was 11th August, and no further refunds will be processed.

The event also offers a kids zone including Sports Cage, Youth Café, and many food options including Noodle Bar, Crepes, and Hog Roast.

Beer Festival

A fully licenced bar serving beers, wine, spirits and soft drinks will operate all day alongside the beer festival, supported by CAMRA, with many traditional ales and ciders.

All profits to charity

Grendon Festival is a non-profit making venture with proceeds going to the Florence Nightingale Hospice and to fund projects for the benefit of communities in Grendon Underwood and the surrounding area. It is made possible by the generosity of many local businesses who have given their time, services and sponsorship.

Camping

Camping is available independent of the festival.
