The Subways take to the stage and launch straight into the first number, with explosive drumming and breakspeed bass lines from Charlotte. They’re animated, full of energy and Charlotte’s hair flies through the air. Young Fraternity from their debut album is high powered and they’re certainly unleashing the potential eFestivals first witnessed at the Glastonbury Band finals they won jointly in 2004.

These days they’re festival veterans and they throw everything into this afternoon’s performance. They dedicate a track to The Magic Numbers. Their heavy sound suits the darkening skies.

They’re sure picking up fans today and are so energetic you can’t help but get sucked into joining in. ‘With You’ a new track off the forthcoming album, with screaming vocals, hard hitting drums and Charlotte’s cracking bass sure is enjoyable.

‘Someone’ also off the debut album ‘Young For Eternity’ and finish with their biggest hit to date ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Queen.’ Judging by their set and the number of new fans they attract the next few singles will sell even better.
