Ipswich Music Day 2004

Open from middday to 8pm, this event is now in its 13th year and is part of the Ipswich Arts festival, IpArt, which runs from 26th June - 11th July hosting a wide variety of events incorporating film, theatre, poetry, and arts-orientated workshops as well as music.

The Music Day is a family event, showcasing many of the brightest and best acts on the local music scene, with seven stages set in the beautiful surroundings of Christchurch Park and Mansion. This year's line-up includes Saltdog, a well-established, east of England festival band.

There are plenty of activities for children, including a few fairground rides and there's free car parking too.
