THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
The Music Industries Association and Future are sorry to announce that we've made the joint decision to postpone the 2010 London Music Show until 2011.
While many music industry partners such as John Hornby Skewes, Korg, Music Force Distribution, Peavey, Roland and Sound Technology committed to the event, it became apparent that organisers would not achieve their goals for London Music Show this year as a result of exceptionally tough market conditions.
The live music is held in a 3000 capacity arena, and the line-up is expected to feature world class artists, with names to be announced over the next few months. This is an opportunity to not only see the performers up close and personal, but also a chance to meet them with signing, and question and answer sessions.
Line-up
Leading international musicians will be running free training sessions throughout the show, with masterclasses allowing event-goers to take part in, and have a go in the interactive feature areas. Confirmed artists to date include ex-Prodigy guitarist Jim Davies and Kasabian's drummer Ian Matthews, as well as guitar legend Joe Bonamassa, acoustic guitarist Newton Faulkner and the producer/song-writer behind Culture Club, Steve Levine.Tickets
Tickets are priced at £26 for the weekend, or £15 for a ticket to any day. The Joe Bonamassa masterclass (on Friday only) is priced at £30. An under 16s ticket for all days is priced at £7.50.In addition, there is a range of inspirational seminars, featuring experts from the industry covering careers advice, free tuition, instrument demonstrations, hints and tips from world class producers and more.
Musicians have the chance to enter the Guitarist and Drummer of the Year Awards via www.londonmusicshow.com/awards/, winners will battle it out and be announced at the show.
