The Tin Pan Alley Festival is a street party turned festival, held in London's famous Denmark Street, known for its history of housing new aspiring acts, recording studios, specialist record shops and as a place that gave birth to a plethora of musical talent.
The festival is completely free. Previous years has seen some great acts play including The Subways, Art Brut, British Sea Power, Good Shoes, Vincent Vincent and the Villains, and The Holloways.
This year has performances from Dan le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip , Help She Can't Swim, Future of the Left, Tiger Force, We Start Fires, Bolt Action Five, Sunset Cinema Club , The People's Revolutionary Choir, 35 Seconds, Goldierocks (DJ set).
After 3 years of supporting Shelter, a charity to help the homeless, the festival have decided that its time to give a different charity a helping hand. They have chosen CentrePoint as they work to improve the lives of socially excluded homeless young people. Their purpose is to help a significant number of such young people turn things around and build the foundations for a more fulfilling future. To find out more click here.
