There's an air of excitement as we wait for British heroes Hundred Reasons, one of the best acts we have to offer and anticipation is high. I think all of us must have seen them before. They're like old friends to us now and it's time to catch up with them again. The happiness is tangible, and vocal when the PA plays Gay Bar and the whole crowd break into song! This continues into The Darkness' Thing called Love and we’re all up for it! Ditching their traditional Europe entrance theme for a much applauded Monty Python And The Holy Grail theme tune the band immediately kick into 'I'll Find You'.

They take the place by storm yet again! Within 30 seconds of this opening song you feel the whole atmosphere of the tent sky rocket. The crowd bounces up and down screaming the words and immediately any lost faith in the band is soon restored. 'Dissolve' and 'Answers' are also as impressive and the only thing that is letting the band down is the muddy sound of the flawed Radio 1 tent.

They've got new tracks to showcase announced with a roar of appreciation and old tracks and the usual banter. They are really spoiling us! The scarecrow with a mop that is lead singer Colin vocals just gets better every year and he takes us through the gamut of emotions and we love him for it.

Hundred Reasons

Playing an impressive set, that is only let down a bit during 'Silver' when you can't really hear Colins vocals or the keyboard section of the song, fills the crowd with huge admiration and praise for the Essex band.

Highlight for me were 'If I Could' and 'Falter'. But it's hard to pick anything out from a gloriously good set. It was all brilliant, it was all sweaty, it was all vital energetic fun! As the final chords echo through the tent you can't help thinking Hundred Reasons are the only band that Britain has to demonstrate the full force of our music. They, indeed, will never falter.
