I'd seen them at Glastonbury where they'd got the crowd going with their crazy Europop and half expected them to do the same. I was wrong. I happily danced away but the crowd didn't. They hardly responded at all. Except once, Move your Feet, started and the crowd were suddenly dancing along with me. But as the song died so did the audience.



To be honest the whole thing was wrong for Reading. Goths, punks, skaters and rockers were never going to get into the music produced by the fat bloke and his skinny cohort. But a sizable crowd watched them and stayed watching them as they produced a bright performance. They worked hard but it was pointless, you had to ask yourself why were they there?
