Seahouses Festival 2010

Seahouses Festival is a FREE three day event happening from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th June 2010 at Seahouses Harbour, Seahouses, in Northumberland.

This year's Festival celebrates the natural environment of the surrounding area - the North Northumberland coastline, wildlife and maritime heritage. There are a wide range of events and performers - music, dance, food, children's events, workshops, talks, art and film. The Festival is free (donations are welcomed).

Music entertainment is on offer on outdoor and indoor stages with everything from big band sounds, jazz, and folk, to rock, indie and classical.

There are no acts confirmed yet for 2010.

Activities

Other activities include a Beach festival, an Environmental Film Festival, a giant Seascape painting project on the Harbour wall, Art Exhibition, a series of nature exploration events e.g. Seashore Safaris, a Food festival with the best of local produce as well as crafts, workshops, demonstrations and displays.

This is a non-camping festival. There are accommodation options in the local vicinity.
