Seahouses Festival 2012

Seahouses Festival is a FREE two day event happening on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th of June 2012 at Seahouses Harbour, Seahouses, in Northumberland.

This festival celebrates the natural environment of the surrounding area - the North Northumberland coastline, wildlife and maritime heritage. There are a wide range of events and performers - music, dance, food, children's events, workshops, talks, art and film. The Festival is free (donations are welcomed).

Music entertainment is on offer on outdoor and indoor stages with everything from big band sounds, jazz, and folk, to rock, indie and classical.

Line-up

My Darling Clementine, Rob Clements, The Fireflies, Watchers, The Toy Hearts, Jonny Kearney & Lucy Farrell, Ramon Goose, Rob Heron & The Tea Pad Orchestra, The Coopers, Dan Walsh, Lilliput, Jeff & Jill Sutheran, Malcolm Bennett & friends, The Cornshed Sisters, The Seahouses Middle School Band and Performing Men. The music stages begin at 12 noon and run until around 6pm.

This year's theme is 'heroes'.

This is a non-camping festival. There are accommodation options in the local vicinity.
