There is no denying that very few bands can pull a crowd quite like Oasis. Looking around the arena, I’d have to argue that this was one of the biggest crowds that i had ever seen at a V festival. The expectation was high as well, but if anyone can deliver the goods then usually Oasis are able to pull some magic out of nowhere and impress the bejesus out of everyone in attendance.

However from the opening notes, you could tell that something wasn't right, there was no chemistry between Liam and Noel, and the passion, well, to be blunt there wasn't any passion, the act was just lack lustre, no sparkle what so ever. Even 'Champagne Supernova' just didn't cut it during tonight's performance.

Liam's vocals just sounded pathetic, rusty, despondent, and out of tune. The fans that had come to watch Oasis, surely must be entitled to a refund, as I've never seen a band disappoint as much as these did.

After such a crap performance, I was beginning to think that they shouldn't play the Sunday night at Chelmsford, thankfully they did the honourable thing and pulled out of playing apparently due to Liam allegedly suffering with laryngitis.

Good excuse guys!

I bet they won't offer to return the money that their fans wasted to see their idols though!
